In order to activate the login screen, you must first add users in the administration part of GCompris. You access Administration by running 'gcompris -a'. In Administration, you can create different profiles. In each profile, you can have a different set of users and select which activities are available to them. To run GCompris for a specific profile, you use 'gcompris -p profile' where 'profile' is the name of a profile as you created it in Administration. लॉगीन स्क्रीन क्रियाशील करने के लिये खेलगंमत के व्यवस्थपकीय विभाग में जाकर आपको कुछ सदस्य जोडने होंगे. 'gcompris-a' यह कमांड क्रियाशील करके आप व्यवस्थपकीय विभाग में प्रवेश कर सकते है. वहॉ पर आप सदस्यों की संक्षिप्त रूप-रेखा बना सकते है. इस रूप-रेखा में एक से ज्यादा सदस्य हो सकते है और इन सदस्यों को कौन से उपक्रम उपलद्ध हो सकते है यह भी आप चुन सकते है. खेलगंमत सूचित संच कंे आधारपर क्रियाशील करना हो तो ‘gcompris-p profile' यह कमांड क्रियाशील करे, जहॉपर ‘profile' यह व्यवस्थापक ने बनायी सूचित संच के नाम हो.
